ADTR has been my favorite band for about 3 years now. I’ve had this idea for a year and a half and finally got it today(2/8/13) for my birthday! These lyrics are just pretty straight forward, it’s something to live by. To me, it’s to stay true to myself and never let anyone bring me down.

First tattoo ever!

I got this today, and I wanted something a lot bigger but it was my first tattoo and funds are limited. ADTR are my life, I mean, I wrote to them and told them this. “here’s to the past” reminds me that no matter what’s happened in the past, if you stand up for yourself you can rise above all the negative times. When I wrote to ADTR I told them about a condition I have and since then I’ve been trying my hardest to get better. It’s a new year. and time to let go of the past and move on with my life.

Long story short, A Day To Remember is the reason I’m still alive and breathing. For Those Who Have Heart changed my life completely. I decided to get “Heart means everything” as a tribute to them for everything they’ve done for me, and as a reminder to put my heart into everything that I do.

this isn’t a typical adtr tat, it is inspired from the For Those Who Have Heart Cover (the guy with the baseball bat over his shoulder) and has a fully bloomed rose behind it. This took 3 hours. I got this tattoo due to ADTR making such a difference in my life.

This was inspired by their ‘Fuck you from Florida’ t-shirt. I first saw it at Warped Tour 2009, which was the first year I had ever seen them live. I thought it was a fun and interesting way to show admiration and dedication to my favorite band. On Mickey’s jacket, I have ADTR going down the front. 

Got this tattoo from the song “Have Faith In Me” by ADTR dedicated to my beautiful son who no one wanted when I was pregnant, and now is my year old ball of joy.
